N-methyl-N-propargyl Phenylethylamine, an analog of Deprenyl (Selegiline).
It produces PEA & N-methyl PEA as metabolites instead of amphetamine & methamphetamine.
Discoverd by J.Knoll and collegues by code name TZ-650.

It has neuroprotective potential, increasing neuronal survival in specific conditions.

According to US-2011027354-A1 patent:
TZ- 650 has above the same level of neuroprotective activity as Selegiline
But Knoll estimated it’s activity as ~1/3 of Selegeline.

TZ-650 effect is linked to monoamine oxidase inhibition (preferably B isoform but in high doses also and A isoform), impacting neurotransmitter metabolism.
Drug also elevates PEA’s brain levels being a PEA prodrug.
